United Metal Sections’ Coil Service Centre provides quality service to many industrial and trading
companies dealing with metal coils.
Our Coil Service Centre is contained in a modern warehouse with quality processing equipment to convert large metal coils into:
- Slitted coils. (Slitting).
- Sheets. (Cut To Length).
- Smaller Coils (Recoiling).
Special care is being applied to the handling of your coils before and after processing to insure damage free material.
Our service is very flexible and reliable. We assure you that your coils will be in safe, capable and knowledgeable hands.
The following presents a guide to the capabilities of this service centre.
The Line’s capabilities and features include:
· 1250 mm Maximum Input coil width.
· 0.2-2.0 mm Thickness for mild steel.
· 25 mm Minimum slit width.
· 35 is the maximum number of slits
· 12 Tons maximum input coil weight.
· 8 mm is the minimum scrape allowance per coil. In the case of staggered coils, additional scrape allowance is required.
· +/- 0.2 mm slitting width tolerance.
· Rolls in contact with metal are coated to minimize scratches.
· Proper steel strapping is applied to each slitted coil.
· Each slitted coil is labeled with essential information.
· All slitted coils are loaded on strong wooden pallets.
The Line’s capabilities and features include:
· 1250 mm Maximum Input coil width.
· 0.2-3.0 mm Thickness for mild steel.
· 300-4000 mm sheet length.
· Side trimming may be provided by simultaneous slitting process.
· Leveling stage available.
· 12 Tons maximum input coil weight.
· +/- 2.0 mm cut to length tolerance.
· 4 mm is the maximum out of square tolerance.
· 15 mm is the maximum flatness tolerance.
· Sheets are packed on strong wooden pallets and fixed by proper steel strapping.
· Each pallet will be properly labeled with the essential information.
